Graz Darken
Slices

Slices is a show of microscopic prepared slides of plant, human, insecta and mineral. Specimens dating back as far as 1820. Slices of the past, framed in the now

Graz Darken is a North London artist. Coming from a design background, Graz has spent the last 5 years collecting these slices of antiquity; appreciating their aesthetic beauty in form, subject and colour. Graz sees these slices as man-made time capsules of nature - frozen moments of being. Her passion for them has driven her family mad. She is now excited to share them both as specimens and as images, with a wider audience.
